Looking Back & Looking Forward

Once again it has been awhile since my last posting and I appreciate all who have been visiting the blog here. It 's been decision time for me (and Helen) and trying to put some things in place once the "big" decision was made.

For almost 3 years I have been wearing both a Corporate Hat as the Mgr. of New Agent Recruiting and also a Cruise Specialist Hat (amongst other things). this doesn't count all I have done in the years previous to that. I have throughly enjoyed bringing in new agents and hopefully in some small way, help them to begin to have as much fun as I do helpiing people plan their cruise vacations.

But as I reach the point in time when I am required to sign up for Medicare (that begins in May ), I had to look in both directions - forward and back - and I realize it is forward that needs to take precedent. As much as I enjoy the position and job of bringing in new agents to our company and the industry, it is time for Helen and I to have the freedom to come and go as we please. Put another way, enjoy the Golden Years before they tarnish!

So I decided to retire, well semi retire anyway, and give up the Corp Hat and go back to being the best Cruise Specialist that I can be. Then I can really get into this blogging thing and be more consistent with postings, information, and hopefully entertaining posts.

I want to hear from you so if you read this blog, please feel free to post something back. Whether you agree or disagree with my thoughts, or have a question, let me know. I can do more with feedback than without.

So it's looking forward for me beginning April 11th. Why that date? Well we leave on the wonderful 16 night transatlantic and Mediterrenean cruise on the 14th. I do intend to post things daily from the ship and I know that this is going to be a fantastic voyage.

Let me hear from you. Thanks.
